Well Stocked NYC is a personal chef meal prep service that helps New York City parents and professionals enjoy healthy, home-cooked meals prepared just for them, delivered to their door.

How does this service work?

Clients choose their selections from the Well Stocked NYC menu and personal chef Liz Winston cooks their meals, just for them.

Each Well Stocked NYC session involves cooking three separate, relatively elaborate meals; clients can make three menu selections from the Well Stocked NYC menu per session. Clients can opt for 3 - 4 portions of each menu selection, so each personal chef meal prepping session produces 9 - 12 adult portions.

The menu centers healthy, protein-rich main dishes and flavorful, thoughtful vegetable sides, as well as an array of creative snacks, lunches, and desserts.  

The menu is highly customizable, and can be adapted to accomodate allergies, dietary needs, and of course, personal preferences.

The night before your session, Liz Winston buys groceries so she has everything she needs. The day of your session, she starts cooking at 10am, and prepares your meals just for you, all in one day. She delivers them still-warm, any time 5pm-on.

What does it cost?

The fee for a single personal chef meal prepping session is $599, plus the cost of groceries (~$150-$200) and delivery via Lyft ($20 - $70).
The fee for recurring weekly meal prep sessions is $499; clients who reserve a weekly slot (i.e. Thursdays) receive a $100 discount each week for reserving their slot for the month (i.e. all the Thursdays in a month). Clients receive an invoice weekly for groceries ($150-$200) and delivery via Lyft ($20 - $70).

Groceries are sourced from Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods, and the grocery bill is typically $150 - $220, depending on your menu selections and preferences. The Lyft for delivery is typically $20-$70. On the day of each delivery, clients receive screenshots of the grocery receipts and Lyft booked for delivery, and receive an invoice for the balance.

The prevailing alternatives to cooking for yourself at home are not great: ordering takeout or subscribing to expensive meal delivery services where food is mass-prepared and the quality and presentation leave much to be desired.  

What we eat, and how we eat it, is really important. Eating well is way to really take care of ourselves and tend to ourselves, especially if the demands on our time and energy can feel overwhelming.
